Business Planning and Goal Setting
Devising a great strategy is one thing. Managing its implementation is another. A great plan on paper can — and frequently does — fail in execution. HRBP focuses on strategy and management with programs designed to look at both sides of the equation, examining such challenges as information sharing, knowledge transfer, and the management of culture, which happens to be where many promising strategies fall short.
Successful programs are designed to help all stakeholders devise, monitor, and lead strategies and learn or adopt the ways and means to make their strategies work. HRBP will address the connections between strategic decision-making and human resources. Participants will increase their organization’s competitive advantage through forming successful alliances; receive the tools needed to evaluate the financial impact and the value of strategic decisions; learn how to reframe issues so that the right problems are addressed; look at challenges that face strategy formulation in the HR area; and acquire a framework for the development of an information management strategy.
Both people and organizations need to establish a strategic framework for significant success. This framework consists of:

- values that shape your actions,
- strategies that zero in on your key success approaches, and
- goals and action plans to guide your daily, weekly and monthly actions.
